Draft — pending legal sign-off

Drafted to the structure required by India’s DPDP Act, 2023, and awaiting sign-off by Mohan Shyam. The registered entity name, CIN and GST number are still to be supplied.

This policy explains how DantAssure Bharat collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website, become a member, apply as a partner dentist, or take part in a corporate programme.

1. Who we are

DantAssure Bharat (“DantAssure”, “we”, “us”) operates a dental membership and treatment-package programme in India. Our head office is at 8, DDA Commercial Complex, C2C, Pocket-2, Janakpuri, New Delhi – 110058, India.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, DantAssure is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

To confirm before launch: registered legal entity name, CIN and GST number. Complaints under this policy are addressed to the Consumer Grievance Officer, with appeals to the Nodal Officer.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need for the service you have asked for:

  • Enquiry details — name, email address, mobile number, city and state, and the message you send us.
  • Membership details — the plan you choose, the family members included, and your membership number.
  • Partner dentist details — clinic name, practice type, speciality, professional registration and verification documents.
  • Corporate programme details — organisation name, your role, and the approximate size of your team.
  • Technical data — basic device and usage information needed to keep the website secure and working.

We do not ask for clinical records, treatment history or any health information through this website. Any dental records created during your treatment are held by the treating clinic under its own obligations.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the membership or programme you asked for.
  • To verify partner dentists and maintain the quality of the network.
  • To administer memberships, renewals and member support.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
  • To improve our services, using aggregated information that does not identify you.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, and where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested or to comply with law. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 7).

4. When we share data

We share personal data only where it is needed to deliver the service:

  • Partner clinics and dentists — to arrange your appointment or confirm your membership status.
  • Service providers — hosting, communications and payment providers acting on our instructions under contract.
  • Employers, for corporate programmes — only aggregated participation reporting. An employer is never given an identifiable employee’s dental information.
  • Authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. How we protect and retain data

We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss, and we review these measures periodically.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law — after which it is deleted or anonymised.

To confirm before launch: specific retention periods, hosting locations, sub-processors and the breach notification process.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies necessary to serve pages securely and remember your preferences. If analytics or marketing cookies are introduced later, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:

  • ask for access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data;
  • ask us to erase data we no longer need;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to; and
  • raise a grievance about how your data has been handled.

To exercise any of these, email we@dantassurebharat.com or use our grievance redressal process. We respond within the timelines set out there.

8. Children’s data

Where a membership covers a child, we process the child’s details only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we do not use children’s data for tracking or targeted advertising.

9. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell members directly.

Questions about this policy: we@dantassurebharat.com.
